(Draught) Pours a hazy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, floral, and caramel. Flavor of hops (floral, herbal), toasted malt, and some fruitness with a dry oak finish.

Tap at Night of the Funk. Peanut butter aroma. Pure and unadultered. Weird. Even more PB in the flavor. Odd and gross. All sorts of off flavors came out in this one. Do not want.

Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 29, 2008
BBF 08 NOTF. Cask. mostly clear, low carbonation and thin head - woody amber color. Aroma is on the sweet side, a bit of diacetyl, cherry pit and pedio cherry pie- with some mild young brett barnyard character. Still too much sweetness and residual sugars in the flavor and needs way more time to age and let the brett take hold. Body was weak, watered down and almsot seemed slick and astringent. Meh.

Cask from 08 Night of the Funk. Aroma of sugary berries, including cherries, and maybe some holly? along with wood. Flavor an odd mix of herbal and woody qualities with fruitiness. Watery palate. Forgettable.

Cask on 09/26/08 at Night of the Funk. Pours a clear light brown with a small white head. Aroma of brown sugar and lots of caramel. Flavor is very sweet but also pretty bland. Maybe there is a faint tinge of hops? Weak palate. Pretty dull beer.
