COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RAILROAD STREET IPA CASK Pulled off of a fermenter of Railroad Street IPA that we began to dry-hop a few days before, the best craft beer bar in Rochester, the Tap & Mallet, served this cask with their own hand pump! Well carbonated, hoppy, and still smooth going down, this is the absolute ideal way to enjoy our IPA. 6.0% ABV

Growler from the pub. Pours nice amber capped by a off white foam head. Plenty of sticky lacing on the side of the glass. Nose is pure hop resin, mostly pine. Taste is well balanced, almost under balanced for an IPA. Caramel and pale malt mold well this the pine and citrus. Plenty of late addition hops here. Perhaps a copious amount of dry hop too.

Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14

Aroma: It has a decently hoppy aroma of citrus, pine, and some floral notes as well
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a decent amount of beige head
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, solidly hoppy, with a decent malty presence as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice feel, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid, nicely hopped example of an American IPA. It was solidly above average for me, with a pretty nice flavor profile.

Sample at the brewpub on 7/1/13. Pours clear gold with a medium off-white head. Very English nose with strong floral and earthy notes. Malty flavor with floral and spicy hops through to the finish.

Growler bought while in NY. Pours a light tangerine with a citrus and pine hops aroma. Flavor from growler one was amazing with a nice mix of malt and hops, but growler 2 was a little washed out and kinda weak. My rating is an average of the two...

Standard IPA, grapefruit nose, gold color, standard suite of IPA notes - floral, a bit of pine to go with the citrus. Very heavy on the bittering hops in the palate, finishes with a wallop.

2011 Flour city Brewers fest. Cask. Pours golden orange with an off white head. Crackery pale malt aroma with some light floral hops. Well balanced flavor, with pale malts, a hint of sweetness, and light floral hops. Decent.
