Based after the Belgian White Ales popularized by Blue Moon, Hoegaarden, and Ommegang, this White Ale is light, delicate, and spicy! Over 50% of the grain bill is malted wheat and the beer is purposely unfiltered to highlight flavors that may be absent from filtration. Spiced with crushed coriander, sweet orange peel, and a touch of bitter orange peel, this White Ale is great for warmer temperatures!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Rohrbach’s. This cloudy white beer poured with a decent white head and a citrus aroma. There is a slightly yeasty flavor with trailing spices and the usual coriander and orange peel. This is a good witbier, I don’t know why Steve did not enjoy it as much as others. After tasting some, adding some lemon did make it a little more refreshing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of our friends swore this was not in the style of a wit, but I thought it was a decent attempt at the style. Hazy yellow. Very lemony nose. Lemon/pepper palate. I can never come up with much to say about this style, not my favorite.
