3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’m not a lager guy, but this one is truly delicious. Malty, toasty, really well balanced. Much higher quality than typical mass produced German lagers. On tap at Freie Neukölln in Berlin. Quite a quaffable beer.

The head is good, the body red. It smells maltintensive, natural, bit hoppy. The taste is malty, maltaromatic, bit hoppy, ok. 3

On tap at the brewpub, a lovely orange brown with a white head, malt nose with hints of grape and peach, fruity body with slight sweetness leading into a light earthy bitterness. Gently bittersweet finish.
