There is more here than just barley, hops, and water. Unfortunately. I used to hate the stuff, but then I lived in Somerset County, PA for some years and found a way somehow to appreciate Rock for something beyond kidney flusher. Adequate.

16 oz can in a pint glass at a sports bar as /i wath the #1 Clemson Tiger football team beat up on Wake Forest. 4.4% ABV. Pours with a golden body that has excellent clarity and a modearate size white head that has poor retention. Hop dominated aroma features grassy, earthy and herbal hops -- not my favorite mix. The flavor is better, but still nobetter than the typical, often derided, American "yellow fizzy beer".

Damn hay, basic grains, grass, and cereal in the nose. Damp hay, corn, metallic taste. Sweeter than most cheap lagers

"R.R. is a decent stand by beer for company, this beer is not very flavorful or strong but it is not and offensive brew, a bit light for my tastes

Brought back from other halfís holiday apartment somewhere in either SF or Chicago - spare one in the fridge. I dunno, itís just another generic corn lager really, innit? Smells of corn, tastes of corn. The positives: Iíve had worse commercial lagers, and Iíve had ones that tasted like this but were piss juice.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. One finger clear white head; no noticeable lacing. Pale apple juice color; aroma has a hint of sour apple. Medium carbonation. A distinctive taste; slightly sweet and slightly skunky.

Rolling Rock is nothing special and it doesnít pretend to be. Itís a cheap beer whose target audience is college students wanting to have a good time on the cheap. So I guess it serves itís purpose. Having only a faint carbonated aroma and a dash of skunk, not much on aroma. The appearance is almost totally clear, a faint yellow. Itís got the typical taste of a cheap American style lager. It might as well be lightly skunky carbonated water with a dash of alcohol in it. Pours a small beady head that vanishes after a few minutes. Honestly itís not that great, but considering the price of less than a dollar, youíre getting what I consider a good deal. For 20$ you can get a pack of 18 bottles. You can buy this beer if you do not mind a deficit for taste.

Quickly grabbed these for a get-together with friends since they were cheap. I think people must have pre-conceived opinions towards beers like this that don't cost much and are mass produced and assume it will be bad and have a bias. I love the taste and how drinkable it is. You get to enjoy the simple core flavors that make a beer and it is easy going. I think this is good to drink with food since it's so bland palette wise. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from can. Armoa of yeast. Pours a clear pale with white head. Not much of a taste. Light body, thin texture. Thought I would give it a try, wonít be getting it again. Nothing really to recommend it, just very bland lager.

A skunky bud. Clear yellow real clear but weird light yellow. Why it gets decent appearance rating. Very carbonated like some water. No aroma no flavor. Except skunk....if you like that then rating would be higher, I do not.
