1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A golden beer with a fine head. The aroma is sour and caramel. The flavor is caramel sticky, brewing cereal, no real bitterness, but a slight dryness from the hops and the body is thin. Just another boring international lager - too sweet.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Belgian version brewed by Inbev. It does however feel like a sacrilege to rate it as a Belgian beer, because, in essence, it’s an American lager. It says "extra pale" on the label. As if that’s a quality. But it is pale indeed, with a nice, tall head. Artificially provoked? With both corn and rice in the brew it is typically commercial. Very American macro, in the same range as Budweiser. 311003

Draught at Richmond Arms, Houston
Blond color, thin head, nice lace. Smooth taste, with light malt. I wonder if it was the wrong tap…

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
33cl bottle. Pale gold with thin white head. Some citrus some corn/cereal aromas. Dull malt. Not a lot of flavour at all. Bit buttery, not too carbonated bit of lemon/hop on the finish. Just boring

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can, 24 oz. A clear, golden beer with a decent white head. Very weak aroma, only some pear notes. Equally weak flavor, there might be a hint of bitterness and pale malts though. Very thin and flat on the palate, and there’s more or less no finish. You can’t get much closer to water than this. It’s not awful in any way, it’s just the most uninteresting beer I’ve had in ages. 130818

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Better than Bud et al., but not enough to ever drink it again. Light yellow color, skunky aroma, minimal flavor.
