1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Very, very disappointing. Rolling Rock was an American classic, with its own particular flavor and aroma. Maybe you liked it, maybe you didn’t, but you knew that it was Rolling Rock. Now the boys at AB have finished that and are simply putting their rice beer into a green bottle with no regard for the heritage of the product whatsoever. RIP Rolling Rock!

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a very pale yellow, almost watery. Aroma is vegetal and straw. Flavor is straw and bread malts and vegetal notes. Has a fizzy, highly carbonated mouthfeel. This is awful. The vegetal aroma is tough to stomach. My least favorite beer to date.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated from old notes. My favorite of the mass produced American lagers and the only one I would buy again. Maintains a pleasant, crisp, refreshing, if unremarkable taste for the duration. Best had straight from the bottle. Not sure why but it does taste better this way.

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pale golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of cereal, some straw and corn/DMS. Fizzy, thin and light bodied. Favours are pretty subdued with a hint of sweetness and nearly no bitterness. Short finish. Adjunct laden US lager - boring.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma: faintly sweet and skunky but not much else; Appearance: pale straw, clear, Taste: bland, inoffensive, similar corn backbone as Bud, but not as aggressive; Palate: light body, light carbonation, brief and corny finish; Overall: certainly not a great beer but reminds me of younger days when this was all we could afford.
