as if Rolling Rock wasn’t light enough. This was the only beer they had this weekend at my Dads Harvard reunion. You’d expect them being a halfway decent school to at least have a decent beer. Needless to say I was on the phone the whole time trying to get my friend from Glaucester to pick me up and get me the fuck out of there. It couldn’t have come to soon. I hope to never see this horrible beverage again.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Big corn flakes aroma, sugary sweet, fizzy. Hard to tell if it’s really beer or not.

It would be refreshing on a hot summer’s day, but this sure isn’t an ale drinker’s beer. If I want to drink something this close to water, i’ll just go to the faucet.

Original Rock is already too light, and now they have made an even lighter version. The only thing closer to water than this stuff is coors light.
