12 oz green bottle. Continuing in the batch of megabeers in Binny’s 50¢ bin. And here I thought I’d lost my chance to rate this beer when "Green Light" came out. But it’s here now! Pleasant enough look; clean pale gold color, fizzy bubbly head. No nicer way to put this, though: it smells like a watered-down beer with an elevated mineral content. The taste does have something in its favor, there are some hops. In fact, "49th parallel hops," according to the new painted label. Otherwise, gassy and light on anything else. Anything I lick off my lips tastes like water. So finished very dry and then diluted. Well, if for some reason I could only drink lights, this might be one of them.

Bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow with a fizzy white head. Light grain aroma with some sweet malts. Flavor has light sweetness and some bread. Very little bitterness. Light in body and bubbly. Not horrible, with slightly more character than carbonated water.

Pale yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Same bready/yeasty flavor and arpma as Rolling Rock. Light flavor and light body. Easy to drink but still very regular.

Pale straw color with small fizzy head. Light grain and malt aroma and flavor. Watery.

heemer77 (4754) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAR 3, 2010
Pale, lifeless body. The nose is a hint of grains and green beans. The taste is largely green beans with a little bit of canned corn. There is also some character like drinking club soda. Light and boring. Not enough character to be offensive.

Beer flavored water. No taste, no smell, no palate, no nothing. Rather have a bud light, egad!
