Not much aroma, color is very pale yellow. Tastes watery with very little hops. Not very good.

I'm pretty sure that the bottle I had had gone through protein drop. Bland malty arouma, surprisingly malty flavor with just a touch of that RR corn, and perhaps some licorice. Thin, lacked fizz. I was expecting some skunk but got none.

PorterPounder (3944) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2004
Pleasantly surprised - Has a light golden, hazy appearance with a decent sized head. Aroma has a sweet wort essence to it. Has a bit of a biscuity, sweet taste to it with a bit of a licorice aftertaste. Very different from regular RR - much less skunk. Goes down smooth. I think it is retired though - been replaced by the Low carb RR.

As if Rolling Rock wasn't light enough, this is pure water. Some grass notes in the flavor but basically water. Why do I bother with these light beers! I will pass from now on!

This beer is simply awful. Terrible all around: skunky smell and taste, nothing for appearance, mouthfeel (gag!!!), and very undrinkable. I'd rather drink nothing than have a Rolling Rock Light. Why, oh why, do people like this beer? Answer: people are sheep and buy into advertisement.

   AROMA 2/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 4/20
Sham (1846) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 29, 2004
Pours a very light yellow, almost urine like in appearence. A foamy white head that leaves just a tad of lacing. Hello, aroma? Very light hops in the nose, barely detectable. Small malts in the flavor with a nibble of hops for the finish. Watery palate, thin body. Nothing impressive, but hey what can you expect?

Rolling rock is a light beer, why make a light version of a beer that already taste like water. These light beers need to be stopped.

Tastes more like Michelob Ultra than Michelob Ultra does!
