COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the good name of Rolling Rock along with the untraditionally painted green bottle, we created this finely crafted red lager beer. Our toasted caramel malt introduces a rich, robust taste to a remarkably smooth finish. We tender this finely crafted red lager for your continued enjoyment, as a tribute to your good taste

Bottle. Puffy white head with a light red body/ The head collapses after two minutes though. Aroma is cherry hard candy. Flavor is similar but just a but sweeter. Nice maltiness and the body is actually pretty good. I like the toastiness of the beer but the flavors are a bit muted. Some sweetness with a sticky finish.

Is this still available? I cannot find it in my local market these day (will trade for something you cannot find in your neck of the woods if you still have it) but it was pretty good in my humble opinion. Very skillfully balanced lager hops with somethin’ else malts. I really didn’t expect much but it was truely enjoyable, although lacking much aroma and a mediocre texture. Drink ’em if you got ’em!

Bottle. Deep copper in color with a little white head. Fruity malty aroma. Caramel cherry. Malty and sweet toasty flavor. Sweet tasting. Finish is sweet. Thin bodied. Ok.

Six pack of 12 oz bottles from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. I saw these a week ago, and decided to wait a bit longer before buying. Pours a dark amber color with a light tan head. Aroma is malty, and a bit toasty. Nice sweet taste that complements the Hot ’n Spicy Cheez-its I have been eating. Nice, but nothing special.

12oz bottle from local supermarket. Pours a dark amber color with a thin head. Little lacing. Aroma is actually better than a typical lager beer with notes of sweet malt, grass, grain. Flavor is also better than a typical lager, with some sweet malty caramel like notes with very little hoppy bitterness. Generally medium body with a smooth, sweet finish. Much better than I anticipated given the Rolling Rock beers I have had in the past.

Copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Light caramel and sweet corn. Sweet to a fault flavor with a sour twang at the end. Slick and cloying mouthfeel. Not a really bad beer just well you know.

decaturstevo’s Febmergency Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to decaturstevo. Light orange-red with a quick fizzy white head. Thin malty aroma, taste is lightly nutty and sweet.

PorterPounder (5202) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 26, 2008
Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarkets - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper colored pour, medium sized white head that sticks around for a while. Sweet aroma, hints of toffee, hard candy. Flavor has a touch of caramel, some sweet candy corn notes. Mouthfeel is slightly thick, but just a bit too artificially sticky. Overall though, not a bad lager - not overly upset that I bought a six - will make a nice thirst quencher after working in the yard.

Bottle at Smokin Joe’s, Sarasota, FL. Pourd clear dark amber color with a white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light pleasing sweet malty and grain aroma. Medium body. Refreshing balanced flavor with clean finish of moderate duration. Drinkable main line brew.

12 oz bottle-pours an off white head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-burnt caramel/peat, slight spice/herbal hops. Taste is malt-caramel/peat, slight spice/herbal hops. OK/mild carbonation. Medium side of light body. Thanks kwatts1014 for picking this out.
