3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Countbeer (2920) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2012
Bottle:
Big vast and slow disappearing white head, changes slowly into a sticky creamy vast fluffy white head/lacing on top of a hazy yellow colored beer.
Smell wheat, tea, herbs, soap, light citrus and light lemon and something like the oatmeal smell from alcohol free beers.
Taste is nice creamy wheat with yeasty fruit tones like citrus, banana, light peach, light lemon, wheat, corn, some malts, light funky touch, herbs, hops, tea, some yeast and a touch of something light soapy.
Pretty crispy fruit tones, nice grainy ingredients and some sweet bitter flavours with a light dry touch.
Aftertaste of wheat, malts, herbs, banana and light bitter.
Low to medium carbo, soft light tingly mouthfeel, good medium body and a creamy texture.
Smell is not as good as taste. Would like to try this one ice cold on a hot summer day.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 KyotoLefty (4777) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 12, 2011
Draught at the Belgian Beer Festival in Brussels, 2005. A wit with a slight tart, acidic ring to it (coming from added carbonic acid, I found out later). This gives it something of the flavor of a not-so authentic lambic. Not bad, but needed a little more of that taste, as it was rather bland otherwise, typically sweet and spicy.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 wimpie133 (380) - Brugge, BELGIUM - OCT 24, 2010
Bottle, 25 cl. Hazy yellow beer with medium white head. Aroma of a typical Witbier: wheat, citrus and spicy (coriander). Taste is also typical for a Witbier: grainy, wheaty, citrus, light spicy with some light bitterness. Light watery texture all around. Decent Witbier, but nothing really exciting about it too.
