Jolan’tru and Glohhaasi’ mnekha (yes, this is Romulan). 12oz bottle thanks to bhensonb, a long awaited beer for a trek fan. A cool bottle just as the one shown on the site. Pours a deep bright blue color with a medium white head. Really bright and nice. A sweet nose of honey and malt. A nice flavor of easygoing malts, light berries and smooth flavors. Not horrible. A cool keepsake. OK, here is the weird negative: it turned my tongue bright blue. Seriously! It also left me mouth filled with bready food coloring notes. Not exactly nice.

Bottle from BevMo. This is brewed by Cerveceria Centro Americana, SA in Guatemala; the label remains as illustrated here. Pours a blue/green with a similarly tinged head. Aroma is a bit berry and grainy. Thinnish body with decent carbonation. Flavor is a bit grainy with very little hop. Hint of paper in the finish. Overall, it’s clean and nearly refreshing. Obviously Kirk’s leg was being pulled by Spock.

(Rating from my notes, May 2007 trip to Las Vegas. Purchased at the gift shop outside of Quark’s Bar at the Star Trek Experience). Blueberry blue color with a light-blue head. Corny, moderately skunky aroma. Stale grain and boiled veggie flavor. A typical bad lager from aroma to finish. But the blue color is cool. A total gimmick, but it got me to buy a 6-pack. It also helped that I’m a huge Star Trek nerd.

Brought back from Las Vegas by my trekky boss: Bright clear blue almost turqouise. No head, pretty malty and definately on the grainy side. Firm hop bite in the finish. It was fun to try, but nothing incredible. Bottle says it is produced in Guatemala. Thanks for the beer John! :)

Teal colored star trek beer taht has little flavor but does finish cleanly. It is drinkable, though not recommended.

My wife bought me a six-back during a recent visit to Vegas. Upon tasting it I said" Is this even beer?" Didn’t even taste like any beer I know of, maybe a malt-liquor drink or something. As I got closer the bottom of the glass the worse it got. yuk, yuk, and yuk!

Received as a gift from co-worker who acquired this in Las Vegas at the Star Trek Hilton Experience. Pours a dark violet blue brew with light blue/white head that quickly dissipates clean with no ring nor any lacing. Aroma of corm malt, some light citrus hops and a touch of vegetable. Taste is light bodied, well-carbonated with a very gritty grain flavor. Finish is just as gritty as its flavor. I was not impressed with the blue tongue after the finish. A total drain pour! WTF mate? At lease it knock off my missing El Salvador country rating.
