Very cool idea with the blue beer which turned my teeth and tongue blue. The beer isn’t that bad; in fact I think it currently is higher rated than Budweiser. If you are a Trekkie, this beer is for you. Thanks Slikwily for sending these our way. hopdog (5555), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 22, 2004 My 700th rating at Rate Beer. First off, let me start by saying I am NOT a Trekkie. Don’t ask me why I know the Red Shirts are the ones that die. Poured a dark Blueberry color with an averaged sized blueberry (yes, blueberry) colored head. I don’t know if I should give it a 1 or a 5 for appearance (it deserves a 5 for originality). Aromas and tastes of skunky and sweet tribbles. This would make anyone from Romulus proud (it’s shame I’m from the federation though). Oh yeah, I am not a Trekkie. BückDich (4836), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 29, 2004 Looks like artificial blue candy or blueberry something. blue head, blue lacing. TONS of dye in this thing, I hope I don’t have blue bowel movements after this. Aroma is skunky corn and DMS, some faint toast. The flavor is watery, a metallic cleanser taste it noticable in the end. The finish is stale and bland like all ales from the replicator. Nice gimick, kinda fun to drink but it’s still repulsive. Make lots of snorting sounds and yell at everyone while you’re drinking it. Dorwart (1812), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 25, 2004 Light blue head. Frothy and quickly diminishing. Aroma smells like ass. Literaly. Color is a medium blue. Flavor sucks. Was almost scared to drink it. Corn, very fizzy, some malt. Finish is dry and sticky. A total gimmick and drain pour. I would give it a zero for appearance if I could. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 22, 2004 Pours like a tidal wave from the deep blue sea or maybe it’s Barbicide in a glass. Deep cobalt blue with a slight haze, freakish light blue tinted head. This beer reminds me of something that one might order in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine. There really isn’t much here, faint hops, throw in a little corn and alot of food coloring. So much food coloring that after rinsing out the bottle a half dozen time, I realized not only was the bottle not blue(it’s clear) but it would take about a half dozen more rinses to get all the blue dye out of the bottle. To think, I actually ingested this stuff is scary. Maybe instead of drinking it I should have just shot it with my blaster. Volgon (2488), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Dark blue beer that stained the bottle, my lips, tongue and teeth! This looks like the stuff that you would put your combs in, and taste like it too. Very metalicy in flavor. But I had always wanted to try this and now I have. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 3, 2003 I bought a couple of these one for trying and one just because i'm a Star Trek fanatic. The color was what else but blue as it should be,poured with little to no head and what was there faded faster then kirk when he was caught in the Tholian Web.The aroma was faint at best with only mild malt and a light sweetness coming through and the faintest of hops as well. The taste was quite forgettable, you can almost taste the blue coloring in it with a light malt and maybe just mildly sweet and little else.yah my tongue is blue and i'll probably have blue piss in an hour or so but hey it had to be tried for atleast the novelty of it.I recommend trying once but don't go beyond that or go out of your way to aquire.
