Looks like artificial blue candy or blueberry something. blue head, blue lacing. TONS of dye in this thing, I hope I don’t have blue bowel movements after this. Aroma is skunky corn and DMS, some faint toast. The flavor is watery, a metallic cleanser taste it noticable in the end. The finish is stale and bland like all ales from the replicator. Nice gimick, kinda fun to drink but it’s still repulsive. Make lots of snorting sounds and yell at everyone while you’re drinking it.

Light blue head. Frothy and quickly diminishing. Aroma smells like ass. Literaly. Color is a medium blue. Flavor sucks. Was almost scared to drink it. Corn, very fizzy, some malt. Finish is dry and sticky. A total gimmick and drain pour. I would give it a zero for appearance if I could.

Pours like a tidal wave from the deep blue sea or maybe it’s Barbicide in a glass. Deep cobalt blue with a slight haze, freakish light blue tinted head. This beer reminds me of something that one might order in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine. There really isn’t much here, faint hops, throw in a little corn and alot of food coloring. So much food coloring that after rinsing out the bottle a half dozen time, I realized not only was the bottle not blue(it’s clear) but it would take about a half dozen more rinses to get all the blue dye out of the bottle. To think, I actually ingested this stuff is scary. Maybe instead of drinking it I should have just shot it with my blaster.

Cloudy cobalt blue with a thin blue head. Smells like old corn, tastes like it too. Basically some fizzy yellow beer with food coloring.

First of all let me say just how cool this stuff looks! Dark blue beer that stained the bottle, my lips, tongue and teeth! This looks like the stuff that you would put your combs in, and taste like it too. Very metalicy in flavor. But I had always wanted to try this and now I have.

I bought a couple of these one for trying and one just because i'm a Star Trek fanatic. The color was what else but blue as it should be,poured with little to no head and what was there faded faster then kirk when he was caught in the Tholian Web.The aroma was faint at best with only mild malt and a light sweetness coming through and the faintest of hops as well. The taste was quite forgettable, you can almost taste the blue coloring in it with a light malt and maybe just mildly sweet and little else.yah my tongue is blue and i'll probably have blue piss in an hour or so but hey it had to be tried for atleast the novelty of it.I recommend trying once but don't go beyond that or go out of your way to aquire.

Well it is as “Blue” as it was described to me by “Scotty”, and “Geez” I hope it doesn’t turn my teeth blue!
The pours a deep sapphire blue (That’s my birthstone), with a modest bright sky blue head that is frothy in its texture with the residue a fine albeit thin bit of lace. Neutral zone nose, sweet and fresh like “Deanna Trois” perfume, start sweet like “Tranya”, the top as thin as the “strings” in the “String Theory”. Finish acidic, but not near as bad as the “Horta”, Hops are as meek as the “Tribbles”, dry as the planet “Vulcan. As a life long “Trekkie”, I had to try it.

Bottled. Ok. For you non-Trekkies. Romulan Ale is supposed to be blue. Being the semi-Trekkie that I am I had to get this. Actually I was surprised that this wasn't all the way swill. It tasted like a cheap yellow beer. Oh that's right this is made in El Salvador so hence the taste. It was a little sweet most likely from the coloring. Yes it will make your tongue and teeth blue. Hey you only live once .

Ok, there are a lot of Star Trek Geeks out there, and I don't consider myself half as bad as most. My frined on the other hand is the epitotime of a Star Trek "fan" (being nice). For his Bachlor party, we went to Vegas and the Star Trek Experience, where this was on tap. Well, I decided to give it a go. It was decent. It gets major cool points for the color, not to mention it's a good drink to have while talking to a Klingon. Just don't say you support the Romulan's, or you may have a war on your hands.

Cobalt blue color. Small head. Aroma is grainy and sweet. WTF?? A frelling blue beer? I get the Romulan – Star Trek thing but really a blue beer? I tried just enough of this stuff to rate it because I didn’t wish to go through the next day with blue teeth! A medium bodied lager. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. Tastes like your typical South American Lager. Not much flavor and or taste. Well balanced. I also think the blue color, helps the beer from getting skunked. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter
