Pours a completely hazy amber/brown color and a generous off-white head with a very nice retention. The aroma is pleasantly citrusy and malts. Perhaps some other fruits too. It would be very nice if not for some dusty feel. It starts slightly sweet and fruity, but follows with a very decent bitterness. Dry and easy to drink. Not too much aftertaste.

330 ml bottle. BB 30/04/14. From Tomer. חֵן חֵן!
Cloudy dark reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Darkish hops, caramel malt sweetness, mild bitterness and a touch of yeast in the aroma. The flavour is hops, moderate bitterness, mild yeast and some caramel malt. Rather dark IPA. Bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear dark amber body, offwhite head. Aroma has sweet dark caramel,, resiny hops, some dark citrussy nores. Flavour is quite intense dark hoppy. Very nice sweetness. Bit ripe fruitiness in aftertaste, plum and all that shit. Nice beer, but doesn’t hold the good feeling all way through.

Bottle at CBC Clerkenwell share thanks to Chris. Pours golden orange with a small white cap. Nose is big pine and grapefruit with mild caramel. Taste is pretty much the same with more zest. Quite straight forward but a good shout for an IPA

Bottle in Jerusalem. Exp date: 11/2013. Pours a dark rusty orange color, hazy with two-finger+ fluffy/rocky head that retains and laces beautifully. Very little in the way of carbonation visible. Aroma is bursting with citrus notes, particularly orange peel, but also a fresh bread-like/bakery sweetness riding shotgun. The aroma is really compelling, it’s hard to resist diving in with the mouth. Taste is delicious caramel malt up front -- makes me think of a tootsie roll. It then shifts into red grapefruit, intensely delicious, bitter hops. Medium carbonation makes all the flavors animated and dynamic in the mouth. Mouthfeel is generally medium -- not watery, not quite chewy. As beer warms, taste becomes sweeter in the first half, more like skittles than tootsie rolls, transitioning to honey in the middle, and then more of a resiny aftertaste. The aroma in the glass gets stickier-sweeter as the lacing along the sides dries. This is simply a delicious beverage, hard to drink just one, a pleasure through and through, and the #1 beer being brewed in Israel.

Bottle from Tlahav, thanks! Dark amber color. Soft piney aroma with plums. Piney, plummy flavor with citrus and ripe peach. Well balanced grassy hopbitterness, slightly floral.

The taste of grapefruits along with the exact maltiness and the expected IPA’s bitterness makes the perfect IPA
