Grovlam (4157) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle. [Courtesy of BelJohansen, another great session @ yespr] Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany colour. Aroma of caramel, hint of sweet chocolate, hint of spice. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and hint of warming alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavour with light bitter and acidic notes. Sweet fruit finish that lingers. Quit good dubbel I thought.

yngwie (14146) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2007
Bottle. Reddish brown, almost clear body, with a lasting, beige head, leaving nice lacings. The aroma is a bit disappointing, sweet and roasted, and unfortunately notes of vomit. Sweet flavor with a little spicy note, and some dried fruits. Medium body. It finishes sweet, with a touch of spices. Not too pleased with it, but it’s decent. (070914)

thewolf (11255) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2007
Bottle @ Kolding Vinhandel tasting. Pours a deep and slightly hazy brown. A big creamy off white head with plenty of lacing on top. Aroma is bready with some caramel, roasted malts and sweet cookies. A little dried fruits creep in as well. Good creamy palate to begin with, though it soon fizzes away and feels a little thin at the end. Flavour is quite spicy mixed with some caramel and plums. Cardemum and pepper springs to mind.
