3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Reddish brown, almost clear body, with a lasting, beige head, leaving nice lacings. The aroma is a bit disappointing, sweet and roasted, and unfortunately notes of vomit. Sweet flavor with a little spicy note, and some dried fruits. Medium body. It finishes sweet, with a touch of spices. Not too pleased with it, but itís decent. (070914)

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @ Kolding Vinhandel tasting. Pours a deep and slightly hazy brown. A big creamy off white head with plenty of lacing on top. Aroma is bready with some caramel, roasted malts and sweet cookies. A little dried fruits creep in as well. Good creamy palate to begin with, though it soon fizzes away and feels a little thin at the end. Flavour is quite spicy mixed with some caramel and plums. Cardemum and pepper springs to mind.

Bottle: Poured a brown amber with a beige color thick creamy head. Could catch hints of its sweet caramel/toffee aroma as it was poured. Sweet malt and possibly fruit of somekind also smelled. Sweet rich candy malt flavor with a tangy alcohol burn finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Malt and toffee in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with roasted malt and caramel. Just a touch of citrus. Powerful, though the alcohol is hardly noticed. Well made dubbel.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottled) Clear dark ruby with a medium, firm and beige head. Sweet, rye-puddingy aroma with brown sugar, rhum and plums. Sweet and rye-malty, moderately bitter flavor with dark fruit. Alcohol is well hidden behind the sweet maltiness. Smoother and more (cherry-)fruity with yeast. Quite foamy-carbonated, medium to full-bodied palate. Basically a pleasant and tasty brew, but too sweet for anything but dessert.
