COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Bottle. Appearance- light amber, a bit hazy, initial pour leaves a huge white fluffy head which takes a while to settle down, leaving 1-2 fingers. Looks great. Aroma- lemon, fruity, floral and meadowy hints, slight hint of malty toffee. Taste- definite maltiness, fruity, refreshing, some carbonation, citrus hints, bitter orange, quite a full mouthfeel considering the abv. Very nice.

Opaque orange yellow with frosty lacing white foam head. Aroma is strong hoppy, so as taste. A good bitter beer, with likewise aftertaste. (Velp 201404)

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 1 March 2014) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, apricots, grapefruit and slightly grainy malt. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of grainy malt, apricots, orange peel, grapefruit, crisp-bread and a certain citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, highly drinkable. Nice one.

(Drinking date: 3 April 2014) Slightly hazy amber/golden coloured beer with a layer of frothy foam. Looks delicious. Lovely hoppy taste, but could be more intense. Aroma of malts and pineapples. Taste is bitter, with a little bit of sweetness. The beer is not too bitter. Very drinkable beer. But not a lot of taste in this beer. Not very intense. But that is good for a session ale, but I would have liked it more with a more outspoken taste. Bitter aftertaste which stays for a while. The mouthfeel is good. A bit watery with medium to heavy carbonation. Overall, this is a very drinkable beer, but not a very special beer. It’s like water with a slightly hoppy and malty taste. Good for a hot sunny day, but not for if you want to taste something really special. That’s why I give it the total score of 3.5

Slightly hazy light amber with small white head. Yummy fresh malts, piny and citrusy hops. Light sweet touch but great bitter body. Overall just very fresh and enjoyable beer.

Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.

Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, spicy, fruity, tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, tropical fruit, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130927]

33cl bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with lots of tropical fruits, mild citrus, pale malt and hints of pine. Moderate sweet and deliciously fruity with a nice and bitter finish. Certainly sessionable. Balanced and refreshing.

Al naso un invitante profumo erbaceo che in bocca si conferma con aromi citrici molto accattivanti. Una birra facile da bere, molto rinfrescante e dissetante !!

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 19.09.2013
Aroma has citrus, some resiny tones and caramel. Also some hops and fruits. Flavour has some plastic tones, gooseberry bush and fruity notes. Aroma was nice but flavour is bitter in a harsh way. Plastic notes take over at the end of the glass.
