COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Tap @ Delft Bierfestival. Hazy orange colour, white head. Nose is citric, bit of grapefruits. Flavour is light malted, citric, grapefruits. Medium bitterness, medium bodied. Lots of flavours. Well drinkable.

33cl hand-labeled bottle, cheers bierkoning for including it in the already impressive monoculture tradepack. Convincing NL-APA, pleasantly thin-bodied with a distinct EU yeast profile and well-integrated fruity US hops. Slightly sedated, sweetish soggy malts intruding but well-complemented by citrus zest hops. Would be a pleasure to session this if it were available in 5L kegs - labelling your beer "session" does entail a few obligations (cf Hopfenstopfer’s I/PA kegs).

Orange brown colour, somewhat hazy, just off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and slightly acid. Quite some malt there as well. Taste has strong hop bitterness as well as sweet fruits and some sourness. Not sure whether the sourness should be there, I am sure I’d like it more without it. Still, good work with the hops.

A fuzzy, orange beer, a gently poured only a weak and blond head. A nose is pleasant, fruitful and tropical, mangos, some lychee, also balanced fructose and wet pine forest. Taste is medium bitter and tropical fruity, lychee, peaches, some sour grapefruits, and pine needles. The end is dry and bitter. Almost medium bodied, fresh to drink. Nice, tropical beer, unfortunately, the best freshness is missing.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma full of fresh hops, citrus, floral, fruity and with some yeast. Flavor is fruity hops, bitter and somewhat more yeasty and bitter in the finish. Well drinkable, clean and smooth. Great brew.

Bottle. Clear golden beer with a white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma. Hoppy and fruity flavour with some bitterness, very rerfreshing and nice beer enjoyed in a Rooie Dop tasting session in Utrecht :-)

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Golden to orange color, a bit hazy. White head, quickly disappearing, with just a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: fresh hops, herbal, citrus, a hint of sourness, little malt. Some sourness retronasal as well, not sure if that was intentional. Flavor is light bitter with some grain & malty sweetness. Light bodied, but not too thin. Finishes with moderate bitterness that pleasantly lingers on. Lovely on this Summer day.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange/amber with a small white head which disappeared pretty quickly. Medium body with low carbonation. Grass, hops and hints of citrus. A well balanced ale with a good combination of sweet- and bitterness.

citrus, spruce, bread, golden, hazy, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter. Very nice beer for a hot day. Great for a BBQ, not too creamy, but nice bitterness to cut through fat.

Draft sample @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2013 & 33 cl. bottle @ home purchased @ De Molen. Review is for the bottle. Bottled on 29/05/2013. Murky bright peach orange, almost no head. Nose is heavy on mango & passion fruit, very, almost sweetish fruity hop notes, light grapefruit, touches of marmalade and candy sugar. Mango, grapefruit taste, pineapple, pine, passion fruit, tropical fruits, citrus, caramel, taste is a bit less outspoken than I hoped for after the smell but still wonderful. Very easy to drink, light, could indeed drink this 24/7.
