COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Pours a muddy amber color with a tan head. The smell is tart fruit, green hops. Taste is mild caramel, green hops, fruit. The body is light, with soft carbonation.

A fuzzy, orange beer, a gently poured only a weak and blond head. A nose is pleasant, fruitful and tropical, mangos, some lychee, also balanced fructose and wet pine forest. Taste is medium bitter and tropical fruity, lychee, peaches, some sour grapefruits, and pine needles. The end is dry and bitter. Almost medium bodied, fresh to drink. Nice, tropical beer, unfortunately, the best freshness is missing.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange/amber with a small white head which disappeared pretty quickly. Medium body with low carbonation. Grass, hops and hints of citrus. A well balanced ale with a good combination of sweet- and bitterness.

Pours a golden slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Can’t smell really much. Bit fruity, orange. Tastes sweet, vanilla and mandarin. Not really my kind of deal. Low carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Bottle. Little hazy deep yellow color, white head. Aroma is fresh hoppy and fruity. Hoppy and dry taste, malty body on the back, lemon notes from hops.

Hazy orange color with huge white head. Initial smell is malts, biscuit, caramel, toffee and a bit of citrusy hops. Taste is resinous, hoppy, fruity, biscuity malts, dry and spicy. Carbonation is good. Dry and spicy finish. At first I found the malts a bit weird, but it gets better and better with every sip. Sessionable, indeed!

Bottled, gift from caesar. Hazy golden colored, lasting head, beautiful. Mainly cascade hops in aroma, grapefruit, some citrus. Strong and dry hopbitter flavor, thin mouthfeel. Low on carbonation, which i really like in these kind of beers. A session ale indeed. Great for the summertime, but perhaps a bit too harsh for the others seasons.

not the best aroma, cheese/yeast almost but then again pale ales never have a 8-10 range aroma. Nice orange color with head. Little sparkly with a big bitter finish. Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht.

Bottle at the Mill, Cambridge. Golden brown, mostly clear with a white head. Resinous aroma with a hint of plastic. Malty sweetish taste. This is a decent enough beer but ultimately underwhelming. I was hoping for more character and was left wanting. Still, better than many beers, and drinkable enough.
