COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Bottle. Cloudy orange body, medium head. Aroma has mostly Citra and Cascade, Saaz is overshadowed. Taste has juicy Citra hops in a thin body. Sweet and juicy finish with Citra. This is a regular thin bodied APA - why invent new unnecessary styles while many historic and distinctive styles are still unrecognized here?

0,33l fles.

Don’t know why this scores better then the Hop Shock from Laugar.
Nothing wrong with this beer tought it’s a great enoyable session beer with a great flavour, but the Hop Shock was 10 times better than this one... Perhaps most of you are kinda rating for national beers and against international beers huh ?
great overall hoppy flavour, some malts and wheats, grassy bitterness, slightly watery flavour but that doesn’t affect that i like it ( !! ), a great session beer !

Bottle 33 cl. Appearance: A hazy amber with a good off-white head, leaving some lacing. Aroma: . Sweet caramel, with some Grapefruit and Mango. Taste: Sweet caramel followed by some tropical frui and a bitter finish wih some pine. The finish however has the biterness. However halfway the bottle the backbone starts tasting this sweet low alcohol malt drinkish like. thin to medium body, above average carbonation, (slightly lower would be better.) Good attempt, but a bit flawed for me.

Bottle to tulip Lots of pine resin, grapefruit, spruce, pepper, and caramel. It’s a bit muddy orange and it has a frothy 1 cm head with good retention. Taste is orange, grapefruit, pepper, spruce, and very hoppy. Mouthfeel, I must say, is a bit thin, but hey, this is a session IPA and it’s a hell of a beer at only 4.9%.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014 Bottle 33cl. Slightly hazy reddish amber color, generous foamy off-white head, reduces slowly in flocky way, good lacing; fruity Citra hop nose, citrus, lemon, fruit syrup, herbs; hoppy bitter taste, smooth; light to medium body, creamy texture; lingering dry bitter and smooth finish. Great session ale, burp..

330ml bottle. First pour is clear copper, the second a hazy brown. Lots of foam. Aroma is bright with citra hop fruitiness and pine. Taste is more muted, fruity but faded hops, and the body isn’t strong enough to carry the weight. Bit of a disappointment on the whole.

Draught at ’t Klooster, Delft. Pours clear golden with a lacy white head. Aroma is grass, grapefruit, toast and some pine. Very sessionable and fresh. Moderate bitter and light sweet. Medium bodied. Very good.
