3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled, gift from caesar. Hazy golden colored, lasting head, beautiful. Mainly cascade hops in aroma, grapefruit, some citrus. Strong and dry hopbitter flavor, thin mouthfeel. Low on carbonation, which i really like in these kind of beers. A session ale indeed. Great for the summertime, but perhaps a bit too harsh for the others seasons.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, caramel malts, grass and light toast. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with fruits, caramel malts and grasses. Nice IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl hand-labeled bottle, cheers bierkoning for including it in the already impressive monoculture tradepack. Convincing NL-APA, pleasantly thin-bodied with a distinct EU yeast profile and well-integrated fruity US hops. Slightly sedated, sweetish soggy malts intruding but well-complemented by citrus zest hops. Would be a pleasure to session this if it were available in 5L kegs - labelling your beer "session" does entail a few obligations (cf Hopfenstopfer’s I/PA kegs).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Golden to orange color, a bit hazy. White head, quickly disappearing, with just a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: fresh hops, herbal, citrus, a hint of sourness, little malt. Some sourness retronasal as well, not sure if that was intentional. Flavor is light bitter with some grain & malty sweetness. Light bodied, but not too thin. Finishes with moderate bitterness that pleasantly lingers on. Lovely on this Summer day.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A fuzzy, orange beer, a gently poured only a weak and blond head. A nose is pleasant, fruitful and tropical, mangos, some lychee, also balanced fructose and wet pine forest. Taste is medium bitter and tropical fruity, lychee, peaches, some sour grapefruits, and pine needles. The end is dry and bitter. Almost medium bodied, fresh to drink. Nice, tropical beer, unfortunately, the best freshness is missing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. 18th May. Very cloudy, murky brown. Thin, white head. I’ll have to re-rate this. I’d had a long day on the ale. Got home and then my eyes got bigger than my belly. Should have gone to bed! I think it was juicy, fruity and bitter. I don’t really know...

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
not the best aroma, cheese/yeast almost but then again pale ales never have a 8-10 range aroma. Nice orange color with head. Little sparkly with a big bitter finish.
Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht.
