Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Draft @ Borefts 2013. Pours an almost headless, amber beer with a floral, citric aroma and has light touches of caramel. Very interesting aroma. Flavor is very thin and light bittersweet. Quite a disappointing beer from this great brewer, but still a decent brew. I’d hoped for some more body on this beer.

Bottle from favourite beer and 19th advent beer. Hast pale Amber colour, with a big foamy head. Aroma has already and citrus fruit. Taste has tropical fruit citrus hops. Easy to drink.

Opaque orange yellow with frosty lacing white foam head. Aroma is strong hoppy, so as taste. A good bitter beer, with likewise aftertaste. (Velp 201404)

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, beer rushes out from the bottle. Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, light - some citrus hoppyness. Body is light, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, light - some citrus hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light tropical fruitiness with some citrus hoppyness. Watery sIPA - thin body for 4,9%. Probably this one is easy drinking, but not so enjoyable. Waste of good hops.

Hoppy aroma of light malts, citrus, tropical fruits. Flavour is bready, mild hops, tropical fruits. Slightly watery. Refreshing and highly drinkable session APA, would drink again.

Hazy, dark orange body with a towering head, several inches tall even with a slow and careful pour. Aromas of yeast, hops, baked bread, earth. Saaz hops dominate the cascade and citra. Light to medium bodied with a prickly finish. Perhaps a touch of peppery spice with earthy hops and yeast. Decent.

33cl hand-labeled bottle, cheers bierkoning for including it in the already impressive monoculture tradepack. Convincing NL-APA, pleasantly thin-bodied with a distinct EU yeast profile and well-integrated fruity US hops. Slightly sedated, sweetish soggy malts intruding but well-complemented by citrus zest hops. Would be a pleasure to session this if it were available in 5L kegs - labelling your beer "session" does entail a few obligations (cf Hopfenstopfer’s I/PA kegs).

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy amber body with a huge off-white head. Lively fizz. Excellent lacing. Aroma of lemon drops, maple syrup and orange zest. Flavour of blood orange and grass. Nice bitterness. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A clean, tasty beer. I could happily drink this all day.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, caramel malts, grass and light toast. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with fruits, caramel malts and grasses. Nice IPA.
