COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Rooie Dop, we don’t really care about styles. But this is our version of an American IPA. Classic example of the style? Fits perfectly into the category? No. Does it need to be? It just needs to be pretty tasty! Chinook and Cascade hops dominate this beer and are assisted by a biscuity malty backbone. You just can’t resist a Chica Americana!

Amberkleur, plakkerige kraag. Ruikt moutig, citrusvruchtig.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy, copper colour. Thin, just off white, lasting head. Biscuit. Pine. Peppery spice. Taste is fairly heavy sweetness. Dry, spicy middle. Palate is a bit greasy and chewy sweet. Chew on the finish, too.

Geruch fruchtig malzig, sehr hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig, exotische Früchte.

Bottled from Bierkoming Slightly hazy amber with a white head. Loads of piney hops in the aroma. Rather light body. Salmiak in the flavour along with pine-needles. Medium to high bitterness.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2014 Une belle couleur ambrée, accompagnée d’une mousse discrète.

Full on orange haze, bubbly white ringed head. Cheesy and cheesecakey sweet with a nose bag of pines. Stumbling lime, almost minty, green green green hops. Terse carbonation and a bit sticky as it warmed. Ruling sweet maltiness throughout but overall a cheesy bitterness rakes any enjoyment and juiciness out by the finish. Again with the cooling mint hop bitterness on the linger.
I managed most of the bottle and things improved, but I wonder if this batch is vastly different from most of the 6+ months ago rates.

Aromat: wybitnie chmielowy (cytrusy). silny i przyjemny.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of lemon, grass and grapefruit. Flavour of Parma Violet sweets, grape and bitter blood orange. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A lovely IPA.
