COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Rooie Dop, we donít really care about styles. But this is our version of an American IPA. Classic example of the style? Fits perfectly into the category? No. Does it need to be? It just needs to be pretty tasty! Chinook and Cascade hops dominate this beer and are assisted by a biscuity malty backbone. You just canít resist a Chica Americana!

Hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, light malts, some pine. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with a nicely lasting bitter finish. Very tasty and refreshing, an excellent IPA!

On tap at 2014 Oregon Brewers Fest. Colour...golden amber with a thin ecru head. Nose...dusty orchard fruits and sooty hops. Palate...delightfully full and lush with plenty of mango and star fruit to go with the pulpy feel. Thereís citrus and kiwi as well as plenty of lemon curd. The finish is moderately long and slightly dry with lingering hop resin. Nicely done, Mark!

(Drinking date: 25 July 2014) The aroma is really nice, really fruity, hoppy. You smell pineapple and grapefruit and other citrussy things. Really delicious. The beer also looks delicious. Hazy orange beer with a frothy layer of foam, which stays on the beer. The taste is really bitter with in the end just a little bit of sweetness, also really delicious. The mouthfeel is good. A slightly thicker body with medium carbonation. Overall a really good beer!! Thatís why I give it the total score of 4.0!

On draught at 27th Annual Oregon Brewers Festival. Amber golden. Aroma is caramel and light tropical fruit. Taste is caramel, guava, mango, and orange. Well-balanced, non-bitter finish.

Thanks to Rian for sharing! Fresh-floral in the nose. The beer starts very minty, which doesnít really fit into the fresh hoppy citrus aroma. The aftertaste is minty-menthol-fresh, slightly bitter, not too sweet. 10/12/10/10

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Orange colour, a lot of creamy white foam. Aroma is grassy with grapefruit and pine. Light sweet, bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately too much carbonation.

Parece uma IPA americana, aroma cítrico, amargor alto, de média duração, cor de caremelo, turva, não filtrada e não pasteurizada espuma cremosa e persistente, bom retrogosto

The bitterness is awesome here. A lot of hops punches into your nose and mouth. Beautiful amber color, a little bit cloudy. Unfortunately itís definitely to much carbonated. The amount of CO2 create this unpleasant feeling in your mouth.

Bottle from Rodzinak BIS, Warszaw, Poland. Aroma citrusy, malty, dry, quite weak. Taste: close to imperial IPA. Quite heavy. Bitterness is quite strong nd turns a bit on a sour side. Pine, bitter grapefruit. Lacks some sweetness for a ballance. Overall not too bad.

330ml bottle shared with jeevan (memory banks rate). Pours hazy amber, thick white head. Resin, pine and citrus aromas. Some malt backbone, bitter finish. Enjoyed this.
