COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Rooie Dop, we don’t really care about styles. But this is our version of an American IPA. Classic example of the style? Fits perfectly into the category? No. Does it need to be? It just needs to be pretty tasty! Chinook and Cascade hops dominate this beer and are assisted by a biscuity malty backbone. You just can’t resist a Chica Americana!

Small bottle. Hazy orange IPA body with a small head. Aroma has juicy hops and sugar. Sweet taste with tropical fruits and plenty of malt. Finish is sweet and with a medium to low bitterness for an IPA. Very fresh bottle for an import beer - less than 4 weeks old, it’s as fresh as you can get it here.

330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Classic sweet toffee caramel and bold fruity hops, which really jump out of the glass. Rather what you expect in the mouth, a bit sugary and sticky, but with pleasant carbonation. Lots of caramel in the taste, but the hops are bold and fruity but with a bitter bite too. Clearly quite a bold beer, only "hiding" the alcohol through a flood of treacle. But pretty nice ;-)

Cloudy amber colour with a huge white head. Fruity aroma with some dusty hops, orange, apple, pear, caramel, apricot. Very nice mainly bitter flavour with fruits, as well as a nice malty sweet coffee note. Very nice and interesting.

Det här var en god ipa med smak av grapefrukt, mango, banan och äpple. Den var kanske lite obalanserad och det med en rejäl beska. I vilket fall var det en god upplevelse.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2013 had 2 bottles of this beer. one bottle had a lot of carbonation with like 70% foam and 30% beer in the glass. while the other one was with 0 carbonation with no head at all. anyway the smell is citrus and full of fruit notes. taste is better with a good bitterness, citrus, grapefruit, yeast. overall this is average.

Sample från stefannilssons. Mycket tydlig beska i smaken. Lite retlig beska på något sätt, sitter kvar ett bra tag. Tycker alkoholen skiner igen lite väl lätt,

Hazy, pale brown colour. Light but sweet hoppy aroma. Very fruity hop taste. Smooth almost creamy texture.

Bottle: Deep golddn and cloudy with a big and stable off-white head, solid dry lemony to piney nose, sweet fruits and pale malt underneath; robust dry bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; lingering orangey-fruity and hoppy finish, tart and bitter in the aftertaste, but still balanced by some subdued sweet malt. Very fine, very moreish…
