At Rooie Dop, we don’t really care about styles. But this is our version of an American IPA. Classic example of the style? Fits perfectly into the category? No. Does it need to be? It just needs to be pretty tasty! Chinook and Cascade hops dominate this beer and are assisted by a biscuity malty backbone. You just can’t resist a Chica Americana!

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, huge foamy off-white head. Aroma is peach, some citrus, mild grassy and floral notes as well as some slight yeastyness. Flavour is sweet fruits, mild floral and zesty notes along with quite some grassy notes. Quite bitter aftertaste.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a lively off-white head. Discreetly citrusy aroma. Medium body, extremely over-carbonated like a poorly controlled Belgian Ale. Quite some fruit and citrusy hops with a bitter finish. But the carbonation spoils the fun - this is a mega burper. 030812

Very hazy amber beer. Massive off white head. Light and airy palate, slightly soft. Mild orange - piney hops. Finishes sweet with mild minerals and aniseed. Not bad but the hops could do with turning up.
