COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Rooie Dop, we don’t really care about styles. But this is our version of an American IPA. Classic example of the style? Fits perfectly into the category? No. Does it need to be? It just needs to be pretty tasty! Chinook and Cascade hops dominate this beer and are assisted by a biscuity malty backbone. You just can’t resist a Chica Americana!

FC Nordsjælland vs. Chelsea FC Champions League football night tasting in Odense, October 2012. Mild gushing. Hazy golden with a big white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with a spicy and minerally touch. Sweetish yeasty flavour with some fruity hops and a nice bitter finish

Bottle. Hazy dark amber, minimal off-white head. Malty nose, a hint of flowers and sour grapes. Crisp taste, dry hoppy, with a malty finish. Oily finish, not much bitterness. Medium body. Average carbonation.

330ml bottle from Beermoth. Pours hazy orange with good white head. Pineapple juice aroma with a big piney, hoppy character and subtle bitterness. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy ornage color, topped with very decent tan colored head, great retention. Initially a slightly fruity and spicy aroma, which then develops into a pure hoppy aroma. The taste is pleasantly bittery, not much, but relatively mild bitterness. Easily drinkable, very enjoyable.

Bottle: Hazy amber color. Aroma is malty with candies and caramel, followed with citrus peel, herbal. Flavor is light malty, light notes of tropical fruits, caramel. More or less dominated by especially bitter/herbal hops. Too herbal for me.

mostly hoppy (citrus fruits), a bit of malty aroma. Light hints of honey in the background. Pours orange, lightly hazy with medium sized height - looking very nice. Heavy bitterness, light sweetness. medium carbonation. Higher abv, than a typical AIPA, but alcohol isn’t really visible. Quite refreshing, I’d say. Solid beer.

Cloudy orange amber with thick white head. The aroma is sweet until you stick your nose into the glass and then the hops come through. The overall scent is rather like an old lady’s bathroom -- rosewater and lavendar with a hint of ctirus? -- and the initial flavor mimics that before tapering into a more typical IPA flavor. It’s not as bitter as some, though the bitterness comes *after* the palate has dissipated.

Pours hazy orange-amber with huge cream-colored head. Aroma is lemony and grassy. Bitter throughout. Very dry finish. Medium body.

Dark amber orange color with a small off-white head, some flakes. Nose: lychee, fruity, yeast, bit sharp, malt, bit sterile. Taste : dry and very bitter, fruity touch but bit overpowered by sharp lychee. Yeast, hops. Strong long finish. Okay IPA, bit overdone in all.

From bottle in shaker. Bottled 26/03/14. Dark amber, light brownish color, more cloudy than other IPAs I know. Makes sense - unfiltered beer. Decent white head that fades away quite quickly. The usual hoppy IPA aromas, citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, but also more exotic stuff like lychee. Thin texture, lots of carbonation, medium body. Finish is bitter, but doesn’t last very long. Overall an enjoyable IPA.

mateuszk (231) - Poznań, POLAND - AUG 13, 2014
Draught. Pours amber, quite clear, white quickly minimized head. Aroma of citrus fruits, malt backgrounf, but only a little. In taste citrus hoppy bitterness, very bitter actually with just a little of malt base to balance the beer, quite dry. A little to much carbonated. Quite unbalanced, but the description kinda promissed that.
