COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong taste is provided by chocolaty and roasted malts, which are combined with soft smoothness from the oats. Add up a little bitterness from Columbus hops and you’ll get a dangerously drinkable Double Oatmeal Stout!

Bottled, 33 cl. Black colour, small dark brown head. Smell of dried fruits and dark chocolate. Refined and complex aroma with dried fruits, chocolate, caramel, mild coffee and sweet grains underpainted gently by alcohol. Oily mouthfeel. Long warming finish with dark chocolate, vanilla and spicy hops. Very enjoyable.

Imperial stout that is a bit more grainy and spicy than usual thanks to the use of oat. The columbus hops counterbalance the sweetness of the roasted malt.

Borefts

Not bad, but not as good as the BA version, most of the times i preffer the non barrel aged ones better, but in this case the barrel aging gives this beer an extra dimmension, this has everything the BA version has except for a bit more of that warm smooth flavour that the BA version does have. Anyway a nice beer, and indeed very drinkable !

Bottle 33 cl at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Sunday, sampled on September 8, 2013.
Bottled 12/03/13.
Dark reddish brown color, small brown head. Sweet, malty, grainy scent. Sweet, green bell peppers taste. Grainy, roasted aftertaste, also some coffee. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, low to medium low bitterness. Some chili like light burn on the tongue.

TET (1760) - FINLAND - SEP 18, 2013
A black beer with a huge, dense and light brown head. The nose is roasted, some tar, the hops are fresh and citrusfruity, some salt liquirice and fruits. Taste is strongly roasted, almost burned, coffee, some smoke, medium and citrusfruity bitterness. Medium bodied, at the beginning too high carbonation, that makes diffucult to taste the beer, more balanced after a couple of swirls, but high carbonation, anyway. The nice aroma, but the taste is too burned and simple with too high carbonation, and not even the nice hoppyness cannot totally save this IS. Anyway, the good beer.
