COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong taste is provided by chocolaty and roasted malts, which are combined with soft smoothness from the oats. Add up a little bitterness from Columbus hops and you’ll get a dangerously drinkable Double Oatmeal Stout!

Appearance: Black with 3-4 finger thick tan head. Aroma: Butterscotch, caramel, toffee, bread, oat, chocolate, fudge, umami and a citrus edge. Taste: Medium bitterness, low/medium sweetness and lows sourness. Palate: Smooth thick texture, airy light body, average carbonation, lingering dry caramel/toffee/butterscotch malty finish. Comments: Very tasty and glass lace.

This beer does not taste like 10%. A smooth, dark, malty brew with coffee & cherry chocolate tones. Rated by BrewTom

Something is missing with this one. A long burny bittersweet aftertaste but without any power. Some chocolate, oats etc. There are much better dutch beer around in these type of beers.

Pours a pitch black colour with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, prunes, toasty oatmeal. Flavour is medium sweet with some hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Very nice!

Little creamy foam, dark brown color, coffee, chocolate malty scent... Bittersweet taste with a nice mouthfeel. Maybe bit sticky,

Gioiellino olandese, con un corpo denso e oleoso. Nel gusto troviamo cioccolato, caffé, un pervasivo sapore acidulo di oliva che gli conferisce una sfumatura leggermente vinosa. Nel complesso ricca e golosa.

In fles 33cl. Mooie donkere kleur. Slappe schuimkop. Smaakbeleving is wederom voor mij niet goed. Sorry rooie dop maar mijn smaak past niet bij jullie bieren. Gootsteen :(

Bottle - Dark roast, bitter sweet chocolate and a bit of liquorice. Jet black with a light brown head. Burnt malts, molasses and and hoppy bitterness. The burnt/bitterness is a bit much for me.

33cl bottle Appearance: Pours a dark murky brown(almmost black( color with a medium beige head. Aroma: Light chocolate, coffee, and sweet roasty caramel and toffee like notes. Taste: coffee and some liquorice notes with a bit of chocolat. Not as sweet as it smells. Some yeast and in the addition the alcohol does show true. Lowi cabonation and thin body,. oily texture A bit unbalanced as a whole. Some things seem to be missing.off a bit to much to be really good.

Bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head. A light chocolate nose with some toffee and coffee. The flavor is licorice, some dark chocolate, caramel, some yeast. Pretty dry finish. Very good beer.
