COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. Its one of the little things that put a smile on our face. Using delicate ingredients like Guatemala Antigua coffee, brown malts and Saaz hops, we created this dark coffee-infused beer. It will be the smile you need to break the daily grind.

Bottle at home (26/02/13). Pours black with almost no head. Aroma of malts and some coffee, but not getting much there. Taste is watery, malts, some chocolate and hint of coffee with a bitter aftertaste. I remember a lot more coffee when I had this on tap at the Doerak beer festival.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Pitch black pour, small tan foam that dissapears quickly. Aroma is quite good, lots of fresh cold brewed coffee, spicy coffee beans, roasted grain, cinnamon. Taste is a bit disappointing, acidic roast malt flavor, light tannins, mild burnt coffee. Palate is thin, watery and a bit flat. Lots of potential but falls flat. Still OK, but could be much more.

Pours a pitch black with barely a head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice. Flavour is more coffee, coffee, coffee... No carbonation to speak of. A bit thin though, would have been great with a fuller body. Bitter coffee finish. Nice brew, enjoyed it.

Bottle @ Unibar, rhus. Pours black with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of dry roasted malt, heavy coffee, light dark chocolate, light vegetables notes. Flavor is rather dry with roasted malts, coffee, expresso, dark chocolate, dark fruits, and again a light note of vegetables. Medium body, lively to overcarbonated ( Dutch carbonation !) dry and roasted finish. 141213
