We love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. It’s one of the little things that put a smile on our face. Using delicate ingredients like Guatemala Antigua coffee, brown malts and Saaz hops, we created this dark coffee-infused beer. It will be the smile you need to break the daily grind.

Rating #1840 - 07.24.2015 - Bottle from CBI. Nice deep dark color with a darker tan bubbly cap. Aroma is espresso, grounds. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium alcohol warmth, low carbonation. Taste is complex, lots of toasted malt notes, hints of cocoa and fresh vanilla to complement the dominant roast coffee texture. Phenomenal brew

Deep brown opaque. Coffee bones, earth on nose. Light to medium body. Roasted flavour. Coffee. Bit vinous. Light bitterness. Roast & hop on aftertaste. Interesting but not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Thirteen months past the best before date on the bottle. Very dark brown, tan head. Rich dark roast coffee and chocolate, a bit of molasses, quite full bodied. I’m amazed at how well this has held up. Very enjoyable, with nice coffee flavour in good balance.

Trocken röstiger, weich kaffeeartiger Antrunk. Minimal herb, sehr süffig. Steigende, mild süße Kaffeenoten, natürlich, etwas Vanille. Minimaler Hopfen, kurzer, dennoch voluminöser Nachgeschmack. Gut! 11/10/11/11/9/11

Monumentális, örökké tartó, barna hab, fekete szín. Fekete csokis, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok. Száraz és fanyar, savanykás, feketecsokis-pörkölt malátás ízvilág, kávés aromával. Testes sör. Kissé sok a savanyú.

Bottled 330ml. -Almost black coloured, small brown head, pure chicory nose. Roasted malt, chicory, light coffee and milk chocolate with some notes of acidity. Filter coffee and ash in the finish. One-dimensional and quite letdown.

10-03-2016, Delft, Plan B Fles bij plan B gekocht, helaas al in 2014 gebotteld! Desondanks nog goed van smaak. Koffie en met name chocolade overheerst.

I got a really bad bottle of this. Chilled, opened, nothing but foam pouring out. Poured into a glass, and it was entirely foam. It was so unappetizing as the coffee grounds are floating on the foam. Let it settle, and in a few minutes it was flat. I tried drinking it anyway, because Momma didn’t raise a quitter. Coffee grounds all the way through. Eventually I have up and dumped it. I felt bad for the sink drain. I understand yeast sediment belongs in unfiltered beer, but the coffee grounds were to much. If this is how unfiltered beer is supposed to be, no thank you.
