COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The city and province of Utrecht has got a great history (and future) of brewing beer. It deserves a beer that shows our appreciation and what more could we do than make this Utrecht Strong Ale. Big hops dominate the aroma and big malts support them in taste. Put your hands up for Utrecht, we love that city!

A clear light brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of fruits like citrus and orange, with nettle and hop. The taste of sweet fruits, citus and orange, hop bitter and notes of spices. The aftertaste is sweet and strong bitter.

Bottle, courtesy of skortila. Ruby reddish - brown colour, tan head. Nose is hoppy, fruity and floral, oranges, biscuit malts. Fairly bitter. Flavour is biscuit malty, caramel, slight toastiness, fairly bitter. Barleywine-esque minus the sweetness. Really good stuff.

What beautiful aroma, pineapple and maybe some grapefruit all around. Wish my house could smell like this when I wake up. The beer itself is warming and has a slight bitter finish. Tastes very American to me, which is a good thing. Bottle from De Bierkoning.
