COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The city and province of Utrecht has got a great history (and future) of brewing beer. It deserves a beer that shows our appreciation and what more could we do than make this Utrecht Strong Ale. Big hops dominate the aroma and big malts support them in taste. Put your hands up for Utrecht, we love that city!

What beautiful aroma, pineapple and maybe some grapefruit all around. Wish my house could smell like this when I wake up. The beer itself is warming and has a slight bitter finish. Tastes very American to me, which is a good thing. Bottle from De Bierkoning.

Bottle thx to Benzai. Ruby colour with a small off-white head. Smells some hops, bit malty, slightly like a new plastic shopping bag. Tastes very bitter, the same plastic bag taste like in the smell, hops, sweet. It has a weird taste and the best way i can describe it is plastic shopping bag. Full body, soft carbo.

Almost clear reddish appearance, small off-white head. Aroma of red fruit, hop. Red fruity hops dominate the taste, with some malts beneath them. Nice beer, though I had hoped for something better.

33cl, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2012, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, very complex bitter brew, woody/bitter and slightly fruity/spicy, not too heavy, very balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew, yet expensive!

33cl Bottle at UDRBM. Slightly hazy deep amber colour, white head. Aroma of clementines, citrus, oranges, light pine and grapefruit, candy, caramel, nice hops. Flavour is sweet, light malty, floral, clementines, bitter oranges, candy sweetness, firm bitter grass, pine and fruity hop finish. Medium-bodied. Nice and easy beer, not much depth imo but well-balanced and tasty.
