Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Deep gold in colour with a short-lived white head and moderate carbonation. tropical fruit aroma of grapefruit and pineapple with a suggestion of pine. Flavour had more fruit, solid, biscuity malts, leading to a dryish, slightly peppery finish. Enjoyable.

Burk @ Black Friar, London. Klar guldfärgad med ett vitt skum. Frukt, bröd och hö i doften. Citrus, grapefrukt, nektarin, tall och vitt bröd i smaken. Krispig munkänsla, medelbeska. Riktigt, riktigt bra.

Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’15. Gold with white head. A reasonably hoppy, dryish beer, quite easy drinking and fairly full. There are light tropical fruit notes, but a little under developed. Reasonable.

330ml can. Another bought at the Post Office in Hawkshead (excellent range, if a tad expensive) in the Lakes. Hazy gold in colour, thin, but long lasting white head. Nose is bursting with fresh citrus hops, reminds me of another beer, a Belgian perhaps?? Can’t remember! Mid weight, fairly bitter mouthful, good long finish...another quality beer from Roosters.

330ml can at the Mill, Cambridge. Gold, slightly hazy. Small white head. Highly resinous aroma with some papaya and a slight vegetal/plastic note. Sweetish taste with a hint of bitter, hard to get past be intense resinous quality. Golden syrup in the finish with some tropical fruit. Very good, and while I’ve had better APAs I’m glad to make the acquaintance of this one.

September 10, 2014 - at Craft Covent Garden - handpull. Lovely clear and refractive gold with a smallish off-white creamy head (4-). Aroma is very floral, light grain; simple, nice. Taste follows, but an extremely well-done version of a hoppy golden, so well balanced, enough alcohol to match - really tasted "fresh". Average body, chewy, mild carbonation, a medium grainy/floral finish - a solid, solid drinker - I had another !

Can @ The Swan, London. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nose is wet grass, red fruits, catty herbs, hay, hints of melon and pale malts. Taste is pale malts, grass, catty herbs and hints of citrus and melon. Light body, medium carbonation. Decent enough APA, though not amazing in any way.
