Hand pulled at the Black Country Arms, Walsall. Yellow, with thick white head. Thick mouthfeel. Tart, slightly sharp bitterness. Hops are a bit papery, but clean and tight. Pretty good. Not a delicious hop flavour, but balanced and crisply bitter.

Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured floral and hoppy with some alcohol present. A hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Bedford Arms Speciality Beer House, Bedford. Copper with a white head. Aroma of hops gives no hint of what is to come. Taste is sweetly perfumed like an eastern bazaar with hints of spices and incense. Sharp bitter finish. Wasn’t expecting much from this, but I really enjoyed it.
