Traditional Coffee Porter
A dark beer with a hint of coffee on the finish, brewed using four malts, English hops and the addition of Taylors of Harrogate After Dark coffee, Londinium is a nod to the beer of yesteryear and, in particular, the style made popular by the street and river porters of London in the 18th century.

Cask conditioned handpump Mr Foleys Leeds 23/09/12. A black beer with a white head. A burnt roasty aroma with a little lactic sweetness. Simliar in the mouth but it’s a little thin and the finsih is too short. Promises a reasonable amount in the nose but it sells you a little short.

Rich aromas of dark bread with notes of liquorice and coffee. Flavours of dark dough, coffee, and liquorice. Roasted bitter finish. Decent version of the style (Sheffield 15.02.2016).
