2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
2nd July 2012
Cask at the Craft. Light haze on this pale gold beer, tiny white head. Light light palate, a little dry. Watery insipid elderflower. Whisper of sulphur. Watery finish. Undrinkably insipid and bland. Whatever happened to Roosters?

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Mr Foleys Leeds 14/05/12. A pretty anaemic yellow looking beer with a white head and lacing. Definite elderflower notes throughout this. Sweet and flowery. Some lemony soap or washing up liquid. The aroma is very pleasant but the soapiness may be off putting. Becomes more pleasing as you get into it. Nice enough.
