2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at CBC Covent Garden. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is a little dank wet leaves, light malts. Light to medium body, mild carbonation. Caramel, wood, grass, dirt, a little lemon, hint of metal. Bitterness leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Not for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Tockwith Beer Festival. Amber with a white head. Some fairly juicy tropical fruit flavour, but I found this a bit dissappointingly bland for what I was expecting.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask @ Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington. Pours gold with a very mild citrus hop character. Very drinkable, with some slight lime and gooseberry coming through but just lacking a bit of punch.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’14. Gold with white head. There is a sweetish character to this, ripe fruits, juicy peaches along with a more bitter gooseberry note. Big and lasting, certainly very drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask, The Shakespeare, Brum, 21/08/13. Magnificent; maybe the best beer of the night. Nose passion fruit and brittle, crumbling leaves (bay, curry) like Punk. Dustliy pungent. Copper piled with milky grey-white lace. Brittle subcontinental flavour crackling with curry leaf, ground seeds, lime, orange and grapefruit zest. Creamy condition. Really unusual dry leaf hops. Exotic and deeply familiar. Got to love it. Even if it did cause me to miss the train and get a serious bollocking off the missus.

Cask at Old Contemptibles, Birmingham. Excellent beer. Full of punchy tropical fruit notes, with a beautiful, well balanced sessionable quality, even though its a bit strong. Loved it. Felt dreadful the next day.
