Glad I didn’t rate until I finished the beer as it grew on me the more I drunk. Bottle from cotteridge wines. Pours nice golden colour. Good carbonation. Lite foamy head. Taste is floral fruits, tangerine with hints of apricots. Nice long bitter finish. A nice alternative IPA. Better than expected.

York Tap. 26 Jan 13. Fra cask - limited edition 0127. Aprikosfarget. Nesten ikke skum. Litt tung fruktaroma. Fersken. Smaken tung & fruktig. Avslutter litt syrlig. Tungdrikkelig.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Hazy amber pour. Fruit , grassy hop and green tea in the nose. Flavour was similar with gentle jasmine and herb notes. Lingering bitter finish, Different and tasty brew with some pleasing characteristics.

Cask (handpump) @ York Tap, Tea Room Square, Station Road, York, North Yorkshire, England YO24 1AB.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity, orange - citrus, riped fruit, sweet spicy hops, peppermint - jasmine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, riped fruit, jasmine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130121]

Dusted amber with a fine, generous foam. Tangy, mandarins-in-orange jelly aroma with perfumed and honeyed biscuit notes. Pleasant, orange-fruity IPA with wine gum (Jelly Tot?) and cordial flavours backed with biscuit and bitterness. Flowery but discreet with the jasmine and green tea. Bitter, back-of-tongue linger. Biscuits dunked in overly stewed tea notes. Pretty decent.

Bottle at home courtesy of dantheman. Cheers Dan!
Pours hazy mid amber with initial pineapple on the nose which takes on earthy green tea notes as it warms. First flavour is heady floral jasmine followed by a bitter citrus hop hit. Tanins arrive towards the end with a herbal slight fennel quality

Hazy golden coloured with a sweet fruity, floral flavour, from the Jasmine and Green Tea, toffee notes and a slight tart spicy fruity finish.

A peach coloured beer with a short white head. A lovely perfume soapy smell. Bitter taste at the back of the tongue and a nice floral flavour. Not an IPA in some respects but certainly a nice beer. Quite carbonated too and would like to try on cask.

From a limited edition bottle (no. 127). Golden orange colour, lots of lemon & iced tea in the aroma, herbs, lemongrass, jasmine. Light herby feel to the beer which leads into a long bitter finish. The carbonation is steady and fades a bit towards the end. Unusual and not far away from being a really excellent, original beer.

Cask, hand-pulled at York Tap. Half-pint shared with Finn. Good lacing down the glass, filmy layer covering a hazy golden body. Aroma of lemony hops, hints of oranges as well. Taste of hoppy fruits, lightly spiced and semi-dry, leading to a quite heavy bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. A good beginning to our pub crawl in York, Saturday 26.01.2013.

Bottle from Theatre of Wine, Greenwich. Light amber pour with a white head. Zesty aromas with some light spice, quite fruity. Lots of floral notes too. Spicy flavour with hints of caramel. This combo works rather well. Spicy bitter finish. Tasty stuff.
