Cask @ Ackhorne, november 07. Shinny pale golden color with a small white head. Citric piney/ pineapple flavor with some bready malts backbone and a mineral round finnish. Neat. Medium palate, full of flavor and soaring hops. Gentle. Reastrained citric aroma with some mineral notes. Great tasting citric but balanced golden bitter.

Can from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Straw-gold in colour, almost no fizz, thin bright-white head; Bright aromas of lemon-meringue and passionfruit with malty notes of oat biscuits; Low flavour intensity on palate, light-medium body, low acidity though with buoyant bubbliness; Rich tea biscuits lead palate with undertones of yellow grapefruit and white florals, mellow bitterness arrives on the finish. Disappointing that the bright aromas fail to develop on the palate.

Can. Pours pale golden, clear. Dappled cream-colored head. Aroma is faintly citrus and rose. Not-particularly-sweet fruit giving way to a prickly, biscuity finish.

Gul öl med lättare vitt skum. Citrus, hö och viss gräsighet i både doft och smak. Helt okej men ganska enkel.

From the cask at Reading Beer Festival. Very hoppy citrus aroma. Tasted a bit medicinal, certainly unique but I just found it weird. Hints of burnt plastic.

100416. Can at home (abm). Pours clear golden with a high head. Aroma hops, citrus, strawberry. Slight sweet light palate. A bit more body at it would probably be better. Not Bad.

330ml can. A tasty sessionable ale. Well worth a try. This was on offer in my local craft beer shop.

Cask at The Arnold Machin, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, grape, some grapefruit, maybe melon, slight pale malts and subtle spicy hops. Taste of lemon, grape, melon, some grapefruit, slight biscuit, a little straw and spicy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, spicy, floral hop bitterness in ten finish. A tasty pale ale. Nice and pleasant hop flavours with a decent bitterness. I like this.

Cask. Aroma a little fruity hops, where the Turkish delight went is anyone’s guess. Mine is a copywriter’s imagination. Pours golden white top, steady lacing. Tastes bitter from the start with a sharp citric rind flavour atop a plain biscuit base. Palate no more than medium with a strong carbonated finish. I won’t be having a second

Pours a blonde colour. Taste is juicy and fruity. Overall an average blonde ale but very drinkable
