Cask in The White Horse (Sloaney Pony). Colour is pale yellow/gold. Nose is bready, and touch of roasted grain even though it’s pale. Taste has some citrous, but of tangerine and some grassiness.

GBBF. Cask. Hazy gold beer. Suddy white head. Light dry palate. Over dry! A little citrus hop with a whisper of banana. Mild minerals. Ok but too dry again from Roosters.

Oi! Mark! Where are the hops? Blander than the elderflower, and that was a bit lacking on balls to be honest. Only a touch of bitter hops in the finish, but also watery and chalky. Will some yanks please teach these guys what "aromatic" means.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2011 stunning. a lovely lightly toasted yellow/bronw colour with an excellent white head. a sniff blasts the nose with cirtus and floral hoppiness with loads of grapefruit. sip it and the grapefruit really comes to the fore, a really nice smooth mouth feel with good carbonation. An excellent dry and bitter finish. cracking beer. I would happily drink it until I fell over! cask. old bell. harrogate
