Gravity at Swindon Beerex08. Poured coppery blonde. Fruity nose. Well hopped with grassy, grainy and slightly nutty flavours even despite the light colour.

Decent musk to the nose, dank yellow body and silky white head. Straw and syrup in equal measure on initial taste with a milky mouth feel. An initially clean palate dries toward a biting musty malt finish. Nothing amazing but does everything you’d be expecting from the ABV very well. Cask @ Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh

Taste follows with a touch of caramel, and little sweet sugar noticeable. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, light bitterness in the finish. Ok but a little on the bland side.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Clear gold pour with a creamy, white head. Orange and tangerine on the nose with some bubblegum and hay. Has a nice, balanced flavor, light to medium sweet with mild, tangy citrus, straw, faint dough and spices. Light to medium in body with perfect, fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly dry finish with subtle meringue and tangerine. Very good stuff.

(Cask at Gallows Real Ale Festival 2011) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had teabag, toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied. Flavours were malts, molasses, toffee, sweetness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. I would call this an average bitter if the colour is left out. Nothing wrong and nothing impressive.
