Pours mostly clear orange with a huge, over carbonated beige head that lasts a while. Aroma of mostly dark fruit and some citrus. Taste has faded into more of a barley wine, pretty decent actually since it was a heavily hopped ipa with lots of malt to back it up. Sweetness is slightly lingering along with bitterness which lasts a lot longer. Bought this at a store that gets terrible turnover and it was on the bottom shelf behind a ton of other stuff. Sure it would be better fresh but I think it has aged better than most other old IPAís Iíve had.

Itís rude to speak ill of the dead I suppose but this beer seemed to get worse as the years went by. The last time I had it the hops seemed oxidized, flavor was still good and malty.

Bomber. Pours an slightly cloudy amber color with a soapy bubble off white head. Aroma is a subtle hop aroma that is slightly soapy and not pungent at all. Also dome pretty goid malt with a nice toffe crystal malt aroma. Flavour is a grassy hop bitterness with a nice malt background some grainy bitterness also the malt is present but pretty much covered up by the bitterness all the hops seem to be fir bittering and not flavor. I really dont know why you would dry hop with magnum no flavor

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of earthy hops, pine, light citrus, slight pale malts, and some toasting. Poured amber with a hint of copper in color and a large, fluffy, foamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, earth, light malts, slight citrus and some salt. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, earthy, piny, light malt, resin finish is lightly dry.

The bottle I shared with kenb appeared to be at the beginning of an infection because the foam was so abundant and filled nearly all the glass, leaving little room for the actual liquidy goodness itself. Once that debacle died down, I was able to gather my thoughts and come up with what I hope is a fairly objective rating. Thank you for reading.
