Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours deep golden/amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet red berries, marmelade. Taste is light sweet, caramel with a nice bitter touch at the end, spicy and herbal hoppiness. Not bad.

Shared bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice malty aroma and flavour with some caramel and mild spicy hints, not too sweet. Easy and pleasant to drink.

Bottle (33cl) from Meny (Oslo City), Oslo. Nice amber/copper colour, hazy. Finger-thick off-white head that diminishes quite fast. Aroma of malt, grain, light caramel, weakly hoppy. Label says ’inspired by IPA and münchener’; to me the münchener character completely dominates. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is disappointing - quite weak and watery with only a mild bitterness and lack of ’IPA-ness’. Hint of caramel and citrus. Fairly short, mildly bitter aftertaste.

0.33l bottle shared with the Tasting Crew. This is a light blurry deep dark golden almost bronze colored thing with a really small quickly fading off-white top. It has a really caramel sweet and sticky glazed aroma. Sweet dates and dark fruits. Perhaps a bit unbalanced, but surprisingly present for a Norwegian grocery classified beer, and that I like. Not as sweet as I had expected, but is it has a nutty earthy dryness, some sweet red apples, a little bit of citrus and not much more. Not a favorite to be honest, but I finished the whole glass like a true champ. 04.03.2013

Lovnader om hint av IPA i brygget, og fine amerikanske humler angivelig brukt. Fargen er fin, rød-amber. Aroma av søt malt. Smak av... veldig lite. Til 40 kroner et tullete kjøp.

Exiting beer with pale ale, münchener, caramünich and wheat. Beautiful dark red color, slightly brown head. light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness. Nice on a cold winternight
