Pours a clearish orange with a big off-white head. Slightly soapy smell. Quite bitter with aromas of soap. This one might be bitter as an IPA but it should have much more hopsaromas to balance the bitterness. Very bitter finish.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy amber color. Sweet, fruity, perfumed, yeasty, caramelly and nutty aroma with sweaty hops. Toasty, nutty and berryish flavor with fruity-yeasty bitterness. Unpleasantly yeasty.

More like an dark IPA than a bitter... And a very bitter and astringent one indeed! Reminds me of the XX Bitter from De Ranke. The bottle doesn’t mention which bitter hops have been used, but there sure’s a lot of it. But the malty body gives the bitterness something to hold on to. A nice experience!
