COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Historien om Jarlen af Bothwell – født i Skotland i 1536 – er en dramatisk fortælling, der fører fra Skotlands kongesæde til fangekælderen på Dragsholm Slot. Vedholdende kilder hævder i øvrigt, at hans genfærd stadig holder til på slottet. Jarlen har lagt navn til denne lyse skotske ale, der er krydret med engelske humler, som giver øllet duft af blomstrende citruslunde. Drik den til frokost eller til lyse kødretter. Jarlen af Bothwell ville givetvis have drukket den, når som helst - hvor som helst.

Bottle at Valhal. Clear red/brown - white head. Toasted, grassy, herbal, berries notes, amber malts, fart, sulfor, light banana, light bitterness, chocolate. Plain.

Yellow-orange colour, big-bubbled head. Aroma is weird, stale and unclean with some grainy malt, apples and currants. Flavour is somewhat tart with currant, some sour berries and grainy malt. Harsh aftertaste. Adding the yeast makes this more tart. Very weird stuff and not very beer-like.

Bottle from Papsoe, thanks! Golden color. Malt and licorice in the aroma. Full bodied. Sweetish flavor with laurel and licorice. Malty and bready with maybe a hint of butter. Not bad.

0.5L bottle from Superbrugsen, Nykøbing Sj. Pours a slight unclear brass colored body, topped by a lacing, airy white head. Fruity hop aroma, mixed with some sweet-scented honeyed malts. Medium sweet malt flavor, fully balanced by an earthy and light fruity hop bitterness. Medium body strenght. Finishes on the sweet side with a noticable hoppy note. Likeable.
