DØE Festival, Valby, DK. Bottled, 270511. Brown with beige head. Aroma of malt. Flavor with some caramel and roasts.

Medium brown head. Hazy amber body. Fruity malty chocolatey aroma with earthy mealy notes. Dry-sweetish earthy malty roasty taste with banana and fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity roasty licorice aftertaste with mealy chocolatey notes. Nice, drinkable, forgettable. (0.1l at DBF’11.)

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Hazy dark copper colour. Spicy nose. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Some syrup, grain and hay. Mild spicy bitterness. Not really that firm.

Brown with a small off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with a hint of licorice. Sweet malty flavour with caramel, chocolate and licorice and a fruity touch

Bottle. Pour dark brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, dried fruit, chocolate, spice, hops and note.

Bottle from Papsoe, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt, butter and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with licorice, laurel and butter. Wiener melange. Tasty brew.

0.5 L bottle bought at the brewery. Big yellow-shaded blond head, mostly lasting. Body is translucent dark brown with a dark ruby hue. Pleasant peppery and nutty malt aroma with a gentle roastedness and a slight sourish accent. Taste has a more than medium full malt body. Rich and gently sweet with a fresh sourish twist. Notes of dark bread, light bitter chocolate and nuts. Creamy mouthfeel. Malty, light bitter finish. A very nice one, complex and filling, yet easy drinkable.
