Thanks to papsoe for this one. Served warmed up. Smells initially cider like before giving way to some alcohol, prunes, raisins, some caramel, bread pudding. Tastes sweet and spicy with some dark fruity elements and a warming alcohol finish. Good Christmas beer.

...sweet, sugary sweet.
Alcoholic, spices are cinnamon, cloves, and the works.
But it is too sweet, and the nose is best.
Funny experience.

Bottle at KØ10. Aniseed aroma. Ugly muddy colour. No head. The flavour is sweet and spicy, good dried fruit notes, aniseed. Burning and warming alcohol flavour. Cookie aftertaste.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. This version weighing at 17.0% abv! Cloudy brown beer. Fruity malt nose, a little caramel too. Sweet sweet fruity malt. Caramel and candied fruit with too many flavours to seperate. A little spice. Very sweet flavoursome beer. Unusual.

[ Served cold ]. Unclear medium grey red amber color with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy christmas spices, clove, cinnamon, moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100508]

Draught at CBF 2010. Low fluffy off-white head. Hazy dark brown body. Sweet vineous nutty rasin honey caramel aroma and flavor with a low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

Taster from tap at the trading session, Copenhagen Beer Festival ’10. The body appearance is murky brown. No head. Very special, but likable smell and taste of spiced porridge containing raisin, rye bread and sweet malts, among others. Lingering aftertaste with accent on alcohol (CBF, 07.05.2010).
