Bottle from Tesco’s. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is rich woody resin hop. The flavour is medium sweet light bitter with a big zesty fruit malt light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 330ml. A golden colour with a small head. Aroma of honey with vegetable notes. Flavour of brown sugar rather than honey with some underlying malt notes. An initially floral finish giving way to sour citrus and vegetable. Moderate carbonation. Not quite sure what to make of this - it’s a little too sweet for my liking and spoiled by some off notes in the finish.

bought a 6-pack on sale for 6.99 this beer is just odd, I home-brew a lot and this was very disappointed for a craft beer. Caramel note is strong, odd aftertaste, metallic poss. , but more like plastic, foam head etc. all within reason, but deff. pass on this one.

rauchbier (3803) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2014
Bottle, from Tesco Cleethorpes. Amber gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Muted aromas of sweet toffee, biscuity malt and floral honey, malty in the mouth with honey sweetness slightly tempered by a spicy bitterness and a faint toasted bread note, finish is briefly sweet and spicy.
